Managing Partner
Mr B Dutta is an entrepreneur presently managing his family owned manufacturing business M/s Eastman and founded M/s EquipTech Services LLP to cater the core sectors like Mining, Energy, Railway and Defense. He started his career with technology marketing in Railway segment and then shifted to defense equipment manufacturing catering Ministry of Defence, DRDO, DGBR etc. He worked in large Defence PSU BEML Ltd (a second largest Mining equipment manufacturer in Asia and largest Railway & Metro coach manufacturer in India) before stepping to business. Mr Dutta involved in business development in Mining & Energy sector in India and South east asia. His dynamic experience in this sector has brought opportunity to closely work with leading corporates like CIL, NTPC, Thiess, L&T, state electricity etc and various pvt MDOs & medium segment contractors.
He discharged multi-disciplinary roles in various department like Production, Quality, Planning, product development, Marketing, International tie ups, export, trading, service etc. His wide experience in wide range of sectors, help companies from Corporate level to Start-up to manage complex issues e.g; business strategy, International trade, export import strategy, application engineering, technology adaptation, policy implementation, sourcing, new business identification etc. He is also working as a business architect for numerous innovative IT initiatives in disruptive technologies. The passion of Mr Dutta is “Business Transformation” which is to assess capability of a company and accordingly assist to uplift them by connecting to the world market by technology tie ups, agency, licensing etc with the Global players.
Mr Dutta is associated & whole time member in many prestigious organisation like Mining, Geological & Metallurgical Institute of India (MGMI), Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), Indian Chamber of Commerce, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (Under Ministry of Commerce & Trade) etc.
He is having excellent academic background consists of Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from IIFT (Ministry of trade & commerce, Govt of India), Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial engineering from Jadavpur University (India), Management Development certificate from IBAT-KIIT.
Mentor & Advisor of Mineral Processing & Bulk Material Handling Business
Uday Mitra is a technocrat with wide ranging knowledge and working experience of over three decades in the field of Metallurgical, Mineral Processing and Bulk Material Handling industrial sector in India and abroad.
With excellence in academics (National Merit Scholarships etc.) he graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University (1986) and later completed Masters in Management studies (PGDBM) from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C). He also had short term trainings from various eminent management training institutions of India and abroad like INSEAD, IIM-Ahmedabad, Univ. of Michigan – Ross School of Business – USA, McKinsey Centre for Asian Leadership, MASON – UK, ASCI – Hyderabad.
His working career started in 1986 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee with Larsen and Toubro Limited and continued for next three decades in this reputed Indian multinational engineering and construction giant. His illustrious career include many acclaimed industrial projects in metallurgical and material handling sectors in India and abroad where he led his team at various disciplines, roles and capacities. This also include a stint of five years abroad when under his leadership and strategic moves, established L&T’s MMH BU overseas starting from scratch. He rose to the rank of Vice President in 2014.
His wide ranging practical knowledge on engineering applications and management is acquired through extensive interactions with internationally famed technology exponents, technocrats and managers besides first hand exposure in modern engineering plants and manufacturing units in India and abroad. These include mega integrated steel plants across Europe, Aluminium smelters of gulf countries, mammoth armament production units in Russia, gigantic manufacturing units in China to name a few. He also had the privilege of being an invited speaker in national and international seminars.
Currently he is engaged as independent consultant and external faculty with few government establishments. He has also authored few books.

Mr Banerjee is an automobile engineer and served 33 years of service in BEML Ltd as a technician and service engineer for Mining & Defence equipment.
He served his tenure in different specialised equipment of BEML, e.g; Dozer, Dump truck, Motor Grader, Excavator, wheel loader etc. He has been trained by leading technology provider & OEM like Komatsu, TATRA, Rexroth etc for in-depth knowledge of their technology.
His key skill consist of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, electronic systems related to automobiles/Earthmoving /defence equipment.
At Equiptech, his role is to lead the service business for Heavy Earthmoving equipment segment.
He is an expert for trouble shooting for HEMM and takes care of service contracts & overhauling of heavy machineries.

Mr R.K Sharma is a Coal Mining Professional with First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of competency (Coal) from Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), Dhanbad. He is having over 36 years of in-depth expertise in Coal Mining Operations, Safety & rescue, administration, Business Development, Production Enhancement and Resource Utilization in Coal India subsidiaries.
He has done B.tech in Mining engineering and P.G in Industrial Engineering & Management from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He joined BCCL as Engineer Trainee (Mining) and retired from NCL as Chief General Manager Safety & rescue. Some of his key responsibilities in CIL subsidiaries is as under :

He achieved many millstones like 10.5 MT of Coal Production and dispatch in NCL, set a new record in ECL Rajmahal by achieving 10.538 M.Te of Coal, recorded the highest Profit of Rs.326.78 corers in ECL Rajmahal, achieved 21.33% growth in coal production in BCCL during 1995-96 etc.
During his tenure in NCL , he was responsible for liaison with DGMS, NTPC, State Authorities and trade Unions. After his superannuation from NCL, he also work as Consultant / Project Head XV seam Project awarded by Bharat Coking Coal Limited to Indu – SCCL – CGME (Bucyrus) Consortium for Developing 2.5 MT annual capacity underground mine and Producing coal for 9 years by Long wall Retreating Method.
His Paper on “Formulation of an Action Plan for conduct of Check & Joint Survey in Indian Coal Mines” became very popular during National Training workshop on “Coal Mine Surveying – Emerging Issues” organized by the DGMS, Dhanbad.

Sachin is serving two leading consulting companies, e.g; Volition Business Solution LLP with a capability of founder & Managing partner and Bicon Consultants pvt Ltd. as a Director. Before establishing his business, Sachin served leading consulting company M/s Ernst & Young. At Equiptech, Sachin mainly take care of Business Consulting wing. His wide experience in business planning, strategy consulting, brand development, tax audit, energy consulting, international trade etc served many organisation in India and abroad. His major areas of focus in Environmental Advisory – Sustainability, Carbon Markets, Energy Markets, Mechanisms like REC & PAT and Energy Audit.
